COVID-19 UPDATED ADVICE TO MEMBERS
The AICSA is closely following the situation as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to escalate in Australia and around the world. We are continuing to take measures to accord with those recommended by the Australian Government and are planning a scalable response.
As previously advised our aim is to continue to provide as many of the Institute’s key services and functions as possible. The following measures will apply from Tuesday 17 March 2020.
No attendance at AICSA office other than for pre-arranged purposes
As the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID 19) widens we ask that you please do not attend the AICSA office unless for a pre-arranged purpose.
Wednesday’s workshop, Commercial Property Transactions (beginners level) has been postponed until Wednesday 1st April and will be held as a Webinar only (with recording available).
Professional Development sessions
Seminars and Workshops will be delivered by webinar only. If you are registered for a seminar or workshop you will automatically be included in the webinar option and be provided with login details closer to the date and time of the session. You will also be provided with all documentation required to participate prior to the webinar commencing as well.
CPC points will be provided for attendance via webinar and recordings during this period.
No Committee meetings will be held face-to-face, until further notice. Webinar access will be forwarded closer to the date and time of the Committee meetings. The Executive will consider what measures/arrangements will be taken for Council and Executive meetings in due course.
Member social events
All social events are being cancelled or postponed. Registrants for the events will be contacted by email.
External room hire
All room hire bookings are to be cancelled and no bookings will be taken until after the end of April (this date is subject to review). Those who have made a booking will be separately advised (including BPG meetings held at the AICSA).
The Member and Public Phone Advisory Service will continue until further notice.
Business continuity in the event of closure of the Institute
As previously advised we are putting plans in place to ensure that we can continue to offer Member services in the event the AICSA’s office is required to temporarily shut down.
If the office is temporarily closed, staff will continue to work remotely and we request contact be made via email to email@example.com (this includes any advisory calls).
The website will be updated with relevant details at the time.
